Matjaž has been a professional consultant for Animal Hospital Postojna since 2007.
Matjaž Jeraj graduated from the Secondary School of Nursing in Ljubljana and continued his studies at the College of Health Sciences, in the field of radiology. After graduation in 2003, he started his clinical training and, in October 2004, passed his professional examination at the Institute of Oncology in Ljubljana. Since then, Matjaž has been employed at the tele-radiotherapy unit of the Institute of Oncology in Ljubljana. He constantly strives to complement his ever-growing clinical experience with theoretical knowledge by attending national and international professional meetings. Matjaž leads a group of radiation therapy technologists working with a cutting-edge radiotherapy device – an Elekta Synergy linear accelerator (2018). He is also the president of the radiotherapy chapter of the Slovenian association of radiation therapy technologists.
Matjaž has been a professional consultant for Animal Hospital Postojna since 2007. To be able to successfully implement his extensive knowledge and experience from human radiotherapy in the veterinary profession, he first visited a radiotherapy centre at the veterinary faculty in Paris, France. Today, Matjaž Jeraj extensively contributes to the development, optimisation, and modernisation of radiotherapy at Animal Hospital Postojna.
